Both courses offer a great challenge to the golfer. The Dufferin recognised as one Ireland's great inland golfing experiences has masses of challenges thanks to its undulating countryside. (The Dufferin was the site of all major championships until the 1970s). The shorter Ava course compliments the larger course perfectly, its tight fairways are lined with gourse, heather and trees making the player play with deft accuracy.
